Sunday services

Common worship is the highlight of the church week. We get to come together before the face of God. Together we can bring thanks to Him, present our requests to Him, be blessed by Him.

At St. Andrew's Church, we hold services in Finnish, as a rule, every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and in English at 11:30 a.m.

In word services, we sing hymns and spiritual songs, hear God's word and its explanation, and pray together. Sunday mass, or communion service, is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month and on all church holidays.

Every Sunday, after the Finnish church service, church coffees are available in the parish hall, sometimes we also have lunch together. It is hoped that parishioners will be actively involved in organizing church coffees.  Welcome to join the kitchen committee or even just once a season to help in the kitchen and in the church cafeteria!

Sunday service is a celebration that we get to do together. Every Sunday, we need parishioners' help with various reading and organizing tasks. People with musical and singing skills are needed for the choir and as soloists. When you come to serve, the Sunday celebration in honor of the Lord often becomes even more meaningful to you.
